GOP meeting schedule

The Wayne County Republican Party has announced the following schedule for precinct meetings at GOP headquarters at 147 S. Center St.:
Feb. 14 -- No. 4 (Pikeville Fire Station), 6:30 p.m.
Feb. 15 -- No. 16 (American Legion), 6:30 p.m.; No. 14 (New Hope Friends Church) and No. 19 (Carver Heights), 7 p.m.; No. 17 Wayne Center, 7:30 p.m.
Feb. 17 -- No. 11 (Greenleaf Church), 6:30 p.m.; No. 13 (Oak Forest Church), 7 p.m., No.3 (Little River), 7:30 p.m.
Feb. 21 -- No. 7 (New Hope Fire Station) 6:30 p.m.; No. 22 (Greenwood Middle School), 7 p.m.; No. 25 (Mount Olive Civic Center), 7:30 p.m.
Feb. 22 -- No.12 (Family Y), 6:30 p.m.; No.1 (Fremont Fire Station), 7 p.m.; No. 21 (St. Luke UMC), 7:30 p.m.
Feb. 24 -- No. 15 (Spring Creek High School), 6:30 p.m., No. 27 (Brogden Middle School), 7 p.m.
Feb. 28 -- No. 26 (Dudley Fire Station) and No. 30 (Southern Academy), 6:30 p.m.; No. 18 (WAGES), 7 p.m.; No. 5 (Belfast School), 7:30 p.m.
Two precinct meetings will be held at other locations. The one for No. 24 (Grantham Fire Station) will be held at the fire station at 7 p.m. Feb. 17. The one for No. 29 (Goldsboro library) will be held at 7 p.m. Feb. 24 at 1200 Muriel St.
All registered Republicans are asked to attend the meeting for their precincts so that they can hear about party issues and pick representatives for the upcoming county convention.
