Special number for mission fundraiser

A special telephone number will be used for Thursday's broadcast fund-raiser to benefit the Community Crisis Center. The number is 273-4901.
WGBR and WFMC will broadcast throughout today from the Slocomb Street mission, which is seeking to raise money to pay off a $131,000 mortgage on its building.
The mission, run by Evangelist Adeen George, seeks to reach homeless and addicted men and women.
