Nurse course set

KENANSVILLE -- James Sprunt Community College will offer a 28-hour nursing assistant III refresher class.
The class is for those whose Nursing Assistant I Certification has lapsed or whose re-certification is due soon and who have not worked under the direct supervision of a registered nurse in the last two years.
Class will begin Oct. 7 and will meet for three weeks, Thursdays from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. The last class will be on Oct. 22 from 8 a.m. until noon in the Boyette building, room 219. The $55 registration fee is payable at the first class meeting.
Students must bring to the class on registration night their Social Security card, N.C. drivers license or other picture identification, documentation of prior listing on N.C. Nurse Aide Registry and documentation of successful completion of the original nursing assistant I training.
