Norwayne Alumni makes homecoming plans

Norwayne Alumni and Friends Inc. will have its 32nd annual homecoming Sept. 3 through 5.
On Sept. 3 at Norwayne Middle School, there will be networking and reflections at 7 and 10:30 p.m., scholarship and eighth-grade awards at 8 p.m., a business meeting at 8:30 p.m. and an auction at 9:30 p.m. Cost is $5 for nonmembers and free for children.
On Sept. 4 there will be a parade at 10 a.m. in Fremont, a banquet at 6 p.m. at Dillard/Goldsboro Alumni Cultural Center with Bishop Limmie N. Forbes of New Jersey as speaker, and a homecoming dance with D.J. Big Easy of Foxy 104.3/107. The cost of the banquet is $20 for nonmembers and $10 for children ages 6 through 12. The cost of the dance is $20 for nonmembers.
On Sept. 5 there will be a worship service at 11 a.m. at Gospel Tabernacle Church of Fremont and a gospel music program at 6 p.m. at St. James Disciples Church of Christ of Fremont.
