Bloodmobile
The Wayne County Chapter of the American Red Cross will have a Bloodmobile on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Saulston United Methodist Church. Donors will receive a coupon for a free car wash.
One-stop to stop
One-stop voting for the July 20 primary elections concludes Saturday.
Between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., registered Wayne County voters can go to the Wayne County Public Library, 1001 E. Ash St.; Belfast Fire Station, 3212 U.S. 117 North; or Dudley Fire Station, 4533 U.S. 117 Business South.
Anyone with questions about the election is encouraged to call the Wayne County Board of Elections office at 731-1411 or visit the Web site at www.waynegov.com/boe. Sample ballots are posted on the Web site.
National KidsDay
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Wayne County will celebrate the third annual National KidsDay.
The event on Sunday, Aug. 1, will take place at the main club at 1401 Royall Ave. from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.
Boys & Girls Clubs throughout the nation will be hosting special events under the theme of "Back to School Rally."
The Goldsboro club's activities will include free food, inflatable rides, games, contests and door prizes. Ceremonies will begin with words from the executive director and a proclamation read by the mayor of Goldsboro. For more information call 735-2358.
