The rider of a scooter warily approaches the flooded driveway of a service station on Berkeley Boulevard during a thunderstorm Wednesday night. Wayne County avoided the rain Wednesday afternoon, but storms hit in the evening with torrential rain. It measured 2.3 inches on Berkeley Boulevard.
