Base waste hearing

There will be a public hearing concerning the draft hazardous waste renewal permit for Seymour Johnson Air Force Base on March 23 at 11 a.m. in the Goldsboro City Hall Anteroom at 214 N. Center St.
All attendees will have the opportunity to present five-minute oral statements regarding the draft renewal permit and-or to submit written comments and data.
Written comments can also be sent during the public comment period between Feb. 22 and April 7 to the following address: Elizabeth Cannon, Chief, North Carolina Hazardous Waste Section, MSC 1646, 401 Oberlin Rd. Suite 150, Raleigh, N.C. 27699-1646.
All data submitted by the applicant are part of the administrative record and available for review Monday through Friday during office hours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Copies of the renewal permit request, the draft renewal permit and a fact sheet are available at the address above.
