U.S. Air Force personnel model the old camouflage style uniform, left, and a new model at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, on Wednesday. About 100 people at the base will wear test the new uniform, developed at the base's Air Force Clothing Office designed for year-round wear. The new blue and green tiger stripe pattern is being evaluated world-wide. Katie Leahy, clothing designer and utility uniform program manager, said the impetus for the new uniform came from Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. John Jumper, who thought the Army's standard Battle Dress uniform didn't suit Air Force needs.
