Correction -- Barratt promoted

Information about Deputy Ian Barratt, one of the six Wayne County sheriff's officers recently promoted, was inadvertently omitted from Wednesday's issue. Barratt was promoted to sergeant in the civil division.
The information should have read:
Barratt, a Southern Wayne High School graduate, earned a degree in law enforcement technology from Wayne Community College.
He became a certified criminal justice instructor in 2001.
He and his wife, the former Theresa Kasulis, a Wayne Memorial Hospital police officer, have two young sons.
