Kaylyn Elizabeth Eastwood and Daniel Reed Thompson exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Nov. 4, 2017, at 5 p.m. at Garris Chapel United Methodist Church, with Bill Garner and Gabe Mitchell officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Eastwood of Farmville, N.C., and the granddaughter of Nancy Eastwood and the late George Eastwood of Walstonburg, N.C., and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Tripp Jr of Farmville, N.C.

The bride is a graduate of Farmville Central High School in Farmville, N.C., and received her degree from Martin Community College with an Associates in Physical Therapist Assistant.

She is employed as a physical therapist assistant at Goldsboro Physical Therapy and Wellness.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Thompson of Goldsboro, N.C., and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Thompson of Kinston, N.C., and Bill Garner and the late Faye Garner of Goldsboro, N.C.

The groom is a graduate from Spring Creek High School in Seven Springs, N.C., and received his degree from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in construction management and a minor in business administration.

He is employed as an account/project manager at Penhall Co.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

Emily Forehand served as matron of honor, while bridesmaids were Anne Wesley Taylor, Mary Carlyle Taylor, Blair Mozingo, Riley Thompson and Kristy Eastwood and junior bridesmaid Laycie Eastwood, niece of the bride.

The flower girl was the brides niece, Eliza Jo Eastwood.

Harvey Thompson served as best man.

Groomsmen were Garrett Fly, Justin Eastwood, T.J. Hinson, Tan Sanders, Jay Kornegay, Kyle Koonce and Will Hathaway.

The ringbearer was the bride’s nephew, Jackson Eastwood.

Carlissa Taylor assisted by directing the wedding. A program of wedding music was provided by Jason Cox, pianist, and Jay Kornegay, vocalist.

The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner on the eve of the wedding at Walnut Creek Country Club in Goldsboro, N.C.

The bride’s parents hosted a reception at Walnut Creek Country Club in Goldsboro, N.C., following the wedding.

Following their honeymoon, they will make their home in Goldsboro, N.C.
