Molly Rebekah Glover and Shawn Gabriel Weigle exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 23, 2017, at 5 in the afternoon at Highgrove Estate in Fuquay-Varina, with Daniel Glover, brother of the bride, officiating.

The bride is the daughter of M. Sherill and Robin Pulley Glover of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Marion W. and Cedessel Evans Glover of Princeton and Linda Brannan Pulley and the late Billy Elwood Pulley of Selma.

She is a 2013 graduate of Wayne Christian School. She is a 2017 summa cum laude graduate of Campbell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in chemistry.

She is an optometry student at the University of Alabama School of Optometry in Birmingham, Ala.

The groom is the son of Brian and Mi Suk Weigle of Fayetteville and the grandson of John R. Weigle Sr. and Edna J. Dixon both of West Virginia and Son Bong Suk and Choe Gyung Sun of South Korea.

He is a 2011 graduate of Western Harnett High School.

He served in the United States Army, and attended Campbell University.

He now serves in the United States Army Reserves.

He is employed with Spectrum Communications in Birmingham, Ala.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

Hannah Glover Glaesman of Raleigh, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Emily Stuckey of Bentonville, Ark., friend of the bride, was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Tess Allen of Goldsboro, friend of the bride; Amy Clarke of Goldsboro, friend of the bride; and Anna Maria Glover of Waco, Texas, sister-in-law of the bride.

Brian Weigle of Fayetteville, father of the groom, served as best man.

Richard Russell of Fayetteville, friend of the groom, served as head groomsman.

Other groomsmen were Darren Canfield of Raleigh, friend of the groom; Shea Glaesman of Raleigh, brother-in-law of the bride; Connor Reilly of Pinehurst, friend of the groom; and Carson Rosser of Sanford, friend of the groom.

Ushers were Colby Norris of Princeton, friend of the couple, and David Overby of Goldsboro, friend of the bride.

Following the wedding, the bride’s parents hosted a reception with dinner and dancing at Highgrove Estate.

The couple toasted each other using the same glasses from the wedding of the bride’s parents 31 years earlier.

After a wedding trip to the island of Antigua, the couple resides in Birmingham, Ala.

A rehearsal meal was hosted by the groom’s parents at Mason Jar Tavern in Fuquay Varina July 22, 2017.

Events held before the wedding included a bridal luncheon given July 9, 2017, by Michele Larson, Jan Rose and Julia Clarke all of Goldsboro at Olive Garden for the bridesmaids, mothers and grandmothers, and a surprise wedding luncheon for the couple July 13, 2017, hosted by the optometry staff of Dr. Sherill Glover at the Fireside Room at Princeton Church of God.
