Anna Marie Charuhas and Daniel Barham Glover exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Dec. 31, 2016, at 4 in the afternoon at Trivium Estate and Conference Center in Forest, Va., with Drew Eastes officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Maurey Charuhas of Damascus, Md., and the granddaughter of the late Werner and Gretel Schock of Parkville, Md., and the late Peter and Sylvia Charuhas of Rockville, Md.

She is a 2012 graduate of Cedar Brook Academy. She was a 2016 cum laude graduate of Liberty University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a minor in theater arts. She is an editorial assistant at J&J Editorial in Cary.

The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Sherill Glover of Goldsboro and the grandson of Linda Brannan Pulley and the late Billy Elwood Pulley of Selma and Marion W. and Cedessel Evans Glover of Princeton.

He is a 2012 graduate of Wayne Christian School. He was a 2015 cum laude graduate of Lee University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biblical and theological students and a minor in biblical languages. He is currently at Duke Divinity School, where he will graduate with a Master of Theological Studies with a concentration in the New Testament in May. He intends to begin a doctoral program to obtain his Ph.D. in the New Testament in August.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

Sophia Charuhas, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Christina Greene Crouch of Lynchburg, Va., friend of the bride and groom, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Emily Moorman of Parkville, Md., cousin of the bride, and Maggie Quick of Lynchburg, Va., and Abby Follmer of Lynchburg, Va., friends of the bride.

The groom’s father, Dr. Glover, was his son’s best man, along with Jim Barber of Goldsboro, friend of the groom. Jordan Portela of Snow Hill and Trey Jones of Princeton, friends of the groom, served as groomsmen.

Jordan was also guitarist and vocalist.

Following the wedding, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at Trivium Estate and Conference Center. The couple toasted each other using the same glasses from the wedding of the groom’s parents 30 years earlier.

After a wedding trip to the island of Kauai, Hawaii, the couple now resides in Durham, N.C.

A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at Charleys in Lynchburg, Va., Dec. 30, 2016.

Before the wedding, the bride’s mother hosted a shower at her home in Damascus, Md., Sept. 24, 2016. Nov. 29, 2016, a floating shower was held at the home of Michele Larson in Goldsboro hosted by Michele Larson, Julia Clarke and Jan Rose, all of Goldsboro.
