Natalie Nicole Goodman and Benjamin Yates Ivey exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 22, 2016, at 5 p.m. at Faison United Methodist Church, with Jabe Largen and Wanda Simmons officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Jerry Lee and Genetta Bradshaw Goodman of Faison and the granddaughter of Betty Goodman and the late Milton Goodman of Mount Olive and Brunetta Bradshaw and the late Gene Bradshaw of Faison.

She is employed as a registered nurse at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The groom is the son of Luther Yates and Rebecca Moody Ivey of Mount Olive and the grandson of Leslie and Polly Turner of Mount Olive and Pearl Walker and the late Nelson Walker of Mount Olive.

He is employed as a welder/fabricator at Dubose National Energy.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore an ivory lace and tulle fit-and-flare designer gown from the Stella York collection. It featured an illusion lace bateau neckline, a fitted lace bodice and a tulle court train. Her dress was accented with a beautiful rhinestone belt. She wore her mother’s lace and tulle cathedral-length veil.

The maid of honor position was left vacant in memory of bride’s sister, Kara Goodman. Bridesmaids were Kylie Kornegay, Bridgette Smith, Megan Knowles, Rhiley Kennedy, Sarah Johnson, Sarah Jackson and Jennifer Jones.

Yates Ivey, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Major Foy Ivey, Jordan Knowles, Fel Jones, Cameron Kornegay, Van Walker, Carlos Jiminez and Marlan Painter. Ushers were Brent Bradshaw, Dallas Bradshaw and Cody Ivey.

Ivey Anderson was flower girl. Hayden Ivey was ringbearer. Rebekah Ivey directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Jenna Warren. Emily Kelly and Brittney Bradshaw distributed programs. Acolytes were Tanner Kornegay, Alexa Smith and Addison Smith.

A program of wedding music was provided by Anne Taylor, pianist, and Susan Avent, Jordan Knowles, vocalist. Barbara Guy was organist.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Sampson County Exposition center, and was hosted by the parents of the bride.

After a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple resides in Faison.

A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at Bethel United Methodist Church.

Events held before the wedding include an I Do Barbecue hosted by family of the groom; a bridal shower hosted by Faison United Methodist Church; a Christmas shower hosted by cousins of the groom; a bridal shower hosted by Bethel United Methodist Church; and a bridal luncheon hosted by Anna West and Robin Jackson.
