Mrs. Cestaro

Carmen Lee McCall and Andrew Christopher Cestaro exchanged vows in a double ring ceremony Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at 5 p.m. at the Harvey W. Smith Watercraft Center in Beaufort, N.C., with Curtis Riley Weychert officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederic Clift McCall Jr. of Goldsboro. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Thomas McCleery of Urania, La., Mr. and Mrs. Henry Raymond Huffman of Deville, La., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederic Clift McCall Sr.

Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Peter Cestaro of Spring Hill, Fla. The groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Francis Joseph Anderson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Nicola Cestaro.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

Anna Estelle Hayes of Raleigh and Abigail Maile Weiser of Charlotte served as maids of honor, while bridesmaids were Dana Marie Cipollini of Raleigh, Hannah Grantham Milewski of Raleigh, Kourtney Brown Sloan of Morehead City and Lauren Ashley Taylor of Greensboro.

Brother of the groom, Peter Francis Cestaro of Yokosuka, Japan, served as best man.

Groomsmen were Matthew Paul Abbene of Orlando, Fla., James Michael Holtje Jr. of Mount Pleasant, S.C., Robert Melaccio of Brooksville, Fla., Burke Edward Sandman of Chicago, Ill., and Jonathan Brett Yates of Morehead City.

Nephew of the groom, Dominick Christopher Cestaro of Yokosuka, Japan, and brothers of the bride, Frederic Clift McCall III of New Orleans, La., and Michael Henry McCall of Goldsboro, served as ushers.

Isabella Carina Cestaro of Yokosuka, Japan, and Emily Marie Freytag of Port Richey, Fla., nieces of the groom, were flower girls, and Anthony Carl Cestaro of Yokosuka, Japan, nephew of the groom, was ringbearer.

Cousins of the bride, Anna Katherine Dimitrijevic of Washington, D.C., and Kali Brooke Martin of New Orleans, La., served as program attendants, and Laura Catherine Mitchell of Raleigh attended the guest registry.

Mrs. Lauren Claiborne Bircher of Goldsboro was the wedding director. A program of wedding music was provided by the Crystal Coast Quartet.

A reception and dance given by the bride’s parents followed the ceremony at Beaufort Historic Site.

The eve of the wedding, the groom and his family hosted a rehearsal dinner on the grounds at the Duncan House.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Wayne Country Day School and an alumna of North Carolina State University. She earned an associate of nursing degree from Wayne Community College and a bachelor of nursing degree from the University of New Mexico. She is currently pursuing a doctorate of nursing practice at Frontier Nursing University.

The groom is a 1999 graduate of Frank W. Springstead High School, Spring Hill, Fla., and an alumnus of Florida State University. He is currently employed as a superintendent with PCL Civil Construction.

Events held before the wedding included an engagement party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Ivey in Beaufort hosted by friends of the bride’s family, and a kitchen shower at Walnut Creek Country Club hosted by Ms. Randy Byrd and Mrs. Fran Boyce of Goldsboro, aunts of the bride.

Following a wedding trip to Germany and Italy, the couple will reside in Charleston, S.C.
