Meredith Jordan Swanson of Roanoke, Va., and Matthew David Rouse of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony May 16, 2015, at 5:30 p.m. at Sundara in Boones Mill, Va., with Bishop Quigg Lawrence officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Stuart and Leslie Swanson of Roanoke, Va.
She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, and is attending a two-year ministry school at NewSpring College.
The groom is the son of David and Sarah Rouse of Goldsboro
He is a graduate of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va.
Matt is the owner of Pine River Films. And he is employed as a web designer at NewSpring Church.
The bride was escorted by her father, Stuart Swanson, and given in marriage by her parents, Stuart and Leslie Swanson.
Betsie Carlson served as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Ellen Steed, Kayla Rouse, Sally Rouse, Katie Rose Higgins, Ashleigh Hurd and Jackie Calamaro.
David Rouse, father of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Chris Steed, Sam Rouse, Landon Harris, Mike Childress, Lanto Griffin and Paul Lendway.
Olivia Forth was flower girl.
Benjamin Carlson was ringbearer.
After a wedding trip to St Lucia, the couple resides in Anderson, S.C.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at Billy’s Restaurant in Roanoke, Va.
