Lindsey Elizabeth Doty of Charlotte and Joseph Donald Bero of Charlotte exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony May 16, 2015, at 5:30 in the evening at Walnut Creek Country Club, with Timothy Howell officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Athena Katsis Doty and David Scott Boyette of Goldsboro and Robert and Lauri Doty of Saginaw, Mich., and and the granddaughter of Elizabeth Doty of Rome, N.Y. , Nick Katsis of Goldsboro, Beverly Godwin of Goldsboro, the late Willard Doty and the late Hayward Godwin.
The groom is the son of Robert Michael and Diane Carnovale Bero of Goldsboro and the grandson of Dorothy Bero of Cape Coral, Fla., Joseph of and Mary Carnovale of Geneva, N.Y., and the late Donald Bero.
She wore a satin slim gown with horizontal lace detail and a mantilla lace veil with a bouquet of white hydrangeas and peach David Austin roses.
Amanda Smith was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Katherine Doty, Amie Bero and Mary Catherine Bero.
Robert Bero II and Michael Bero served as best men.
Groomsmen were Daniel Epperson and Jeffrey Barno.
The couple resides in Charlotte, N.C.
