Lindsey Paige Suggs of Goldsboro, and Joshua Aaron Carter of Wilmington, exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony April 18 at 5:30 p.m. at The Atrium in Wilmington, with the Rev. Richard Glosson officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Billy and Paulette Suggs of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Larry and Frances Price of Wilson, Daisy Best and the late Paul C. Best of Goldsboro and the late Billy S. Suggs Sr. of Goldsboro.

The groom is the son of Jeff and Tina Carter of Wilmington and the grandson of Betty Block of Wilmington.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a Casablanca strapless soft beaded lace gown that had a deep sweetheart neckline and an organza and lace ruffle skirt.

Her headpiece was a fingertip one-tiered veil with a pearl and rhinestone edge.

The bride carried a bouquet of Gerber daisies, white miniature callas and hot pink spray roses provided by Cheryl’s Floral Designs of Goldsboro.

Kylie Sledge, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Jessica Davis, Stephanie Carter, Sarah Cropper and Brittany McNeil, friends of the couple.

Jason Carter, brother of the groom, served as best man.

Groomsmen were Jeff Randol, Travis Vithalani, Alex Gretsinger and Shane French, friends of the couple.

Ushers were Stephan Sledge, brother-in-law of the bride, and Matthew Baker, friend of the groom.

Leah Carter, niece of the groom, was flower girl.

Noah Carter, nephew of the groom, was the ringbearer.

Jill White directed the wedding.

Presiding at the register was Elisabeth Lewis, friend of the bride.

Julie Schooley, friend of the bride, distributed programs.

Donna Best, aunt of the bride, and Beth Carr, friend of the bride, were special helpers.

A program of wedding music was provided by Jill Suggs Howell, vocalist, cousin of the bride.

Following the ceremony, the reception, directed by Katherine Thigpen, was held at 128 South.

After a wedding trip to Antigua, the couple will reside in Wilmington.
