Kerry Helen Garner of Greenville and Scott William Smith of Greenville exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Nov. 14, 2014, at 3 p.m. at The Wild Horse Estate in Corolla, N.C., with Peg Witt officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Wesley Arliss Garner Jr. and Adrienne Weiser Garner of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of the late Wesley Arliss Garner Sr. and Dorothy Forbes Garner of Clayton and Helen Musmeci Weiser and the late William Alfred Weiser of Hull, Mass.

She is a graduate of Rosewood High School and East Carolina University.

The groom is the son of William Charles Smith of Chantilly, Va., and Carol Irish Smith of Beaufort and the grandson of the late William M. and Florence Ziesche Smith of Pittsburgh, Pa., and the late William H Irish Jr. and Margaret Richardson Irish of Pittsburgh, Pa.

He is a graduate of Tabb High School in Yorktown, Va.

The bride was escorted by her father, Wesley, and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore an ivory strapless satin trumpet gown with lace applique detailing by Oleg Cassini.

Laura Weiser Rowitsch served as matron of honor, while Maria Pepper was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Heather Ray, Sarah Forbes and Kristen Garner.

Geno Searfoss served as best man. Groomsmen were Todd Smith, Danny Schlosser, Anthony Garner, Kurt Garner and Alexander Garner.

Kayleigh Smith was flower girl.

Liam Garner was ringbearer.

The rehearsal dinner was hosted at the Wild Horse Estate by the groom’s parents.

The food was prepared by the bride’s aunt, Peggy Weiser.
