Donna Renee Mooring of Fremont and Joshua Glenn Phillips exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 4, 2014, at 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church.

The bride is the daughter of Brent and Jerri Mooring, of Fremont and the granddaughter of Rachael Mooring and the late Joseph Ray Mooring Sr., of Fremont and Gerald and Lucy Underhill, of Goldsboro.

The bride and groom are both graduates of C.B. Aycock.

She graduated from the University of Mount Olive in 2012, with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in counselor education at East Carolina University.

The groom is the son of Glenn Phillips Jr. and Allyson Phillips of Goldsboro; the grandson of Glenn Phillips Sr. and the late Gladys Phillips of Goldsboro and the late Carroll Wilson of Morrisville and Laura Mathews of Southern Pines.

He graduated from the University of Mount Olive in 2010, with a bachelor’s degree in recreation and leisure studies.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

The bride wore a white, allure lace ballgown with strapless sweetheart neckline and Swarovski crystal detail at the natural waistline, with a embroidered one-tiered veil.

Lyndsay Cayton and Heather Percise served as matrons of honor, and Nichole Falcone was maid of honor.

Robert Phillips served as best man.

Groomsmen were Stephen Mooring, Sasha Kovacevic, Dustin Sasser and Brian Percise, and the groomsmen also served as ushers along with Robert Phillips.

Bryleigh and Brookly Sauls were flower girls. Presiding at the register was Alyssa Cooke.

Jacob Sauls distributed programs.

There were several bridal showers given by family and friends.
