Shannon LeAnn Garner and Wesley Adam Lane exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Aug. 9 at 6 pm at Duplin Winery in Rose Hill, with Don Craft officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Deryl Lee Garner and Angela Coker Garner of Mount Olive and the granddaughter of Donny Devon Garner and the late Ethel Mae Garner of Mount Olive, the late Melvin Hardy Coker of Mount Olive and Frances Mae Coker of Dudley.

The groom is the son of Richard Adam Lane and Sonya Darden Lane of Mount Olive and the grandson of Carson Douglas Lane of Mount Olive and Edna Louise Lane of Mount Olive and the late Andrew Louis Darden and Janice Fay Darden of Faison.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a chic Maggie Sottero bridal gown. The elegant fit and flare slim line dress was adorned with ivory lace covering a separate slip gown made of light gold vogue satin. It featured a V-neckline with cap sleeves and a keyhole back design with buttons, and flowed into a chapel-length train.

The bride carried a bouquet of ivory and light pink roses wrapped with charms in memory of her grandparents.

Vanessa Barraza was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Samantha Pate, Brittany Richardson and Ashley Braddock.

Richard Lane served as best man. Groomsmen were Joshua Lane, Derek Richardson and Justin Lesley.

Phyllis Tucker of Mount Olive was a special helper.

The reception was held in the bistro at Duplin Winery.

A rehearsal dinner was held at The Mad Boar in Wallace, N.C., given by groom’s parents Aug. 8.

After a wedding trip to Aruba, the couple resides in Mount Olive.
