Charity Ruth Ketterman and Capt. Brooks Jarnagin of Parkton, N.C., exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Sept. 14, 2013, at four o’clock in the evening at SkyView on Hay, downtown Historic Fayetteville, with pastor Craig Autry officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael McArn of Sevierville, Tenn., and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Ketterman of Blue Ridge Va., and granddaughter of Lila Ann smith and the late Auldon Smith of Lumberton and the late Clarence and Daisy Ketterman of West Virginia.

The bride graduated from Robeson Community College with an Associate Degree in nursing and a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University. She is employed by Southeastern Health in Lumberton, N.C., and works in ICU. She holds a critical care certification in nursing.

The groom is the son of Willie and Delette Jarnagin of Goldsboro and the grandson of Bill Carroll and the late Peggy Carroll of Goldsboro, the late Reba Westfall of Stockton, Ca., the late Keith Jarnagin of Marysville, Ca., and Russ and Pat Westfall of North Adams, Mass.

Capt. Jarnagin is a graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice and minor in military science. He is the commander for Bravo Co., 508th Special Troops Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She wore an ivory organza strapless gown with a ruched bodice encrusted at the side waist and hip with small organza rosettes, crystals, pearls caviar beads and rhinestones that flowed into a three-dimensional floral beaded rosette skirt and satin corset back with a cathedral train. In her hair, she wore an embellished comb with ostrich feathers, organza and rhinestones. She carried a hand-tied bouquet with ivory colored hydrangeas, white roses and a collar of Italian ruscus greenery wrapped in ivory ribbons.

Lindsay Reeves of Greenville, N.C., sister of the groom, was matron of honor. Jessica Jarnagin of Goldsboro, sister of the groom, was maid of honor.

Willie Jarnagin, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Kyle Reeves of Greenville, N.C., brother in-law of the groom, and Scott Walker of Goldsboro.

Jessica Tate of Greenville, N.C., presided at the register. The wedding planners were Jordan Wheeler and Krista Giles.

The receptions greeters were Mr. and Mrs. Dale Carroll. Susan and Sydney Basden served the wedding cake at the reception.

Wedding music was prerecorded. A special song, “Make You Feel My love,” recorded by the bride for the groom, was played during the lighting of the unity candle.

Following the ceremony, the bride and groom hosted a reception in the Grand Ball Room.

The eve of the wedding, the grooms parents hosted a “Friday the 13th” rehearsal dinner in the Mezzanine room at SkyView on Hay.

The couple resides in Parkton, N.C.
