Gina Chase Elmore and Steven Ryan Sutton exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 29, 2013, at 4 p.m. at Eureka United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Michele Clark and the Rev. Tyler Mooring officiating.

The bride is the daughter of David Gerald of Eureka and Ronda Chase Elmore of Eureka and the granddaughter of the late John Thomas and Neta Mooring Elmore of Fremont and Virginia Dawson Chase and the late Romulus Edward Chase of Eureka.

She is a 2002 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School, a 2006 graduate of East Carolina University with a B.A. in psychology and a 2008 graduate of East Carolina University with a M.S. in counseling education. She is employed as a school counselor at Wayne School of Engineering.

The groom is the son of Gary Wayne and Gayle Sauls Sutton of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late Bailey and Helen Head of Snow Hill and Malissa Braswell Sauls and the late Solly Sauls of Goldsboro.

He is a 2002 graduate of Eastern Wayne High School, a 2007 graduate of Mount Olive College with a B.S. in business administration and a 2011 graduate of Mount Olive College with a B.S. in history and a minor in English. He is employed as a teacher at Wayne School of Engineering.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a tiered ballgown of white satin and tulle accented with lace from the mother of the bride’s wedding gown. The headpiece was a bird-cage veil.

Angela Barden Perry and Cristie Barden Michalek served as matrons of honor, while bridesmaids were Ashley Hankins Boyd, Lisa Marie Duchesne, Amanda Jones Minshew, Bethany Jordan Stewart, Katherine Hawthorne Sutton and Amy Susan Yelverton.

Gary Wayne Sutton served as best man.

Groomsmen were Dave Edward Elmore, Joseph Tyler Gatlin, James Benjamin Jacobs, Christopher Ryan Kimbrell, Timothy Wade Lancaster Jr., Colby Barden Perry, Benjamin Randall Strickland and Gary Travis Sutton.

Ushers were William Jordan Elmore, Carlisle Jackson Massey, Thomas Chase Massey, Matthew Edward Spence and William Andrew Spence.

Izzy Marie Perry was flower girl.

Journey Michael Perry was ringbearer.

Lu Chase Massey and Tammy Evans Vail directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Brianna Nicole Durham, cousin of the bride. Ashley Ann Lucas, cousin of the bride, distributed programs.

Justin Michael Perry directed the sound.

A program of wedding music was provided by Camille Loraye Frederick, pianist, and Casey Marie Sutton and Alton Jackson Yelverton III, vocalists.

A reception was held at the Lane Tree Country Club, with music provided by Luke Vail.

After a wedding trip to Savannah, Georgia, and Charleston, South Carolina, the couple will reside in Goldsboro.

A rehearsal dinner was given by groom's parents at Eureka United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.

An “I Do” Barbecue was given by family and friends at Eureka Methodist. A bridal shower was given by the bride’s aunts at Eureka Methodist Church. A bachelorette weekend at Emerald Isle was given by the bridesmaids. A bachelor weekend at Harker’s Island was given by the groomsmen and a bridal brunch was given by Cathy Barden, Lillie Mozingo, Cristie Michalek and Virginia Chase.
