Mrs. Smith

Megan Marie Staley of Apex and Joshua Relma Smith of Apex exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony April 28, 2012, at 5:30 p.m. at Green Level Gardens in Apex, with pastor Donnie Darr officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Staley of Pittsboro and Mr. and Mrs. Dan McMains of Green Castle, Ind.

She is a 2007 graduate of Purdue University. She is employed as project coordinator at Universal Meeting Management in Raleigh.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Relma Morris “Buster” Smith Jr. of Faison and the grandson of Relma Morris Smith and the late Peggy Garner Smith of Mount Olive and the late Ralph Coley and Joyce Goodwin Coley of Mount Olive.

He is 2006 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and received his master’s degree from the University of Phoenix. He is employed as project manager at Bandwith Inc. in Cary.

The bride was escorted by her father, Jeff Staley, and given in marriage by her parents.

Jackie Jenkins served as matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Leah Boley, Kristin Pleban and Laura Wagner.

Buster Smith, father of the groom, served as best man.

Groomsmen were Evan Staley, Trent Forbis and Nate Wolf.

Miss Olivia Headley was flower girl.

Charlie, the couple’s 5-year-old Maltese, was the ringbearer.

A reception and dance immediately followed the outdoor wedding ceremony on the front lawn of Green Level Gardens in Apex.

After a wedding trip to Island of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Apex.

The groom’s parents hosted a catered dinner from McCalls Barbecue following the wedding rehearsal.
