Stephanie Whitaker and Eric Robinson of Greenville exchanged vows in a double–ring ceremony Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Baywatch Resort and Conference Center in North Myrtle Beach, S.C., with the Rev. Roland Martin officiating.
The bride is the daughter of John Whitaker Sr. of Washington, D.C., and the late Ruby C. Burnett of Raleigh.
The groom is the son of Nathanial and Jimmie Lou Robinson of Seat Pleasant, Md.
The bride was escorted and given in marriage by John Whitaker III, bride’s brother, of Paisley, Canada, and Xavier D. Nobles of Dudley, son of the bride.
Tausha Martin of Goldsboro was maid of honor, sister of the bride.
Michael Roberts was best man of Indian Trails, godbrother of the groom.
Shayla Johnson of Washington, D.C., cousin of the groom, was makeup artist.
Sheila Leggett of Greenville (Nu look Hair Studio) was hairstylist for the bride.
Ethel Couser of Washington, D.C., cousin of the groom, was mistress of ceremony.
Out-of-town guests were from Capital Heights, Md., Washington, D.C., Raleigh, Durham, Paisley, Canada, Greenville, Goldsboro, Charlotte and Atlanta, Ga.
Events held prior to the wedding included a bridal shower Feb. 25, 2012, at Olive Garden in Greenville and a bachelorette party March 2, 2012, at Senor Frog at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
