McGrath - Richardson
Miss Brittany Lynn McGrath of Ayden and Mr. Joshua Glenn Richardson of Ayden exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at 5 p.m. at Ayden Christian Church in Ayden, with pastor Robert Michael Goff officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Douglas Eugene McGrath and Linda Sue McGrath of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of the late Robert Louis McGrath, the late Carolyn Runyan Davis, Joly Suzanne Bixler and the late William John Knieper Jr. all of of Indianapolis, Ind.
The groom is the son of Royce Erwin Richardson Jr. and Patty Bowen Richardson of Ayden, the grandson of Royce Erwin Richardson, the late Merle Stokes Richardson of Ayden, and D. Glenn Bowen Jr. and Margie Haddock Bowen of Ayden and the great-grandson of Mildred Haddock of Grimesland.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
Miss Nicole Lee McGrath, sister of the bride, of Goldsboro, was maid of honor.
Mr. Royce Erwin Richardson Jr., father of the groom, served as best man.
After a wedding trip to Playa Del Carmen in the Caribbean, the couple resides in Ayden.
