Kerianne Truitt of Phoenix, Ariz., and Senior Amn. Wesley Hayes of Osan Air Base, Korea, exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 1 at 1 p.m. at North Phoenix Baptist Church in Phoenix, with the Rev. Trei Watters officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Judy Truitt and the late Darrell Truitt of Phoenix and the granddaughter of Louise Thompson of Apache Junction, Ariz.

She is a 2000 graduate of Trevor Browne High School in Phoenix, a 2004 graduate of Northern Arizona University and a 2011 graduate of the Culinary Art Institute of Phoenix. She is employed as a baker’s helper at Urban Cookies/Ollie Cake in Phoenix.

The groom is the son of David and Linda Hayes of Goldsboro and the grandson of Richard and Yvonna Hayes of Cambridge, Neb., and Floyd and Mary West of Alliance, Neb.

He is a 2001 graduate of Rosewood High School and a 2004 graduate of Wayne Community College with a degree in metals technology and welding. He was employed with APV/Baker. He is serving in the United States Air Force as a metals technology specialist.

The bride was escorted by her brother, David Truitt of Elko, Nev., and given in marriage by her family.

Rachel Webb of Phoenix was matron of honor.

Laura Howell of Phoenix was the bridesmaid.

Curtis Hayes of Goldsboro was his brother’s best man.

Allen Hayes of Raleigh, brother of the groom, was the groomsman.

Abrielle Hayes of Raleigh, niece of the groom, was flower girl. Andrew Hayes of Raleigh, nephew of the groom, was ringbearer.

A program of wedding music was provided by Seaghan McBride, nephew of the bride, and Sean Pack of Tucson, Ariz., vocalist.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at American Royal Palace Conference and Reception Center in Phoenix.

After their wedding trip to Sedona, Ariz., the couple will reside at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii.

A reception was held Oct. 8 at the home of the groom’s parents.

The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Flamingo Palace Chinese restaurant in Phoenix.
