Hannah Grace McArthur of Mount Olive and Carley Bruce Moore of Johnsonville, S.C., exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony May 14 at 6 p.m. at Sleepy Creek Country Club, with Pastor Doug Bartlett officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Kimberly McArthur Dudley of Goldsboro and the late Henry Burrell McArthur of Mount Olive, the stepdaughter of Ricky Lee Dudley and the granddaughter of James and Elsie Mae Whitman of Mount Olive and Norma Grace Benson and the late Laney Andrew Benson of Goldsboro.

She is a 2009 graduate of Southern Wayne High School and attends Mount Olive College. She is employed as a tutor at Mount Olive College.

The groom is the son of Bruce Moore and Connie Bray Moore of Johnsonville, S.C., and the grandson of Carley “C.J.” and Mavis Moore of Johnsonville, S.C.

He is a 2005 graduate of Johnsonville High School and a 2010 graduate of Mount Olive College with a bachelor’s degree in RLS sports management. He attends Liberty University’s master’s program for a degree in biblical studies. He is employed as a correctional officer with Sampson Correctional Institution.

The bride was escorted by her brother,, Timothy McArthur, and given in marriage by mother and brother.

She wore a white gown with a gathered white bodice with a cascading multi-tiered bottom that flowed around the feet in an asymmetrical design.

Her headpiece was pearls.

The bride carried a green and white bouquet of gardenias, orchids and peonies with pearl accents.

April Tucker was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Sarah Matthews, Michelle McArthur, sister-in -law of bride, Wendy Parrott, sister of the groom; and Lacy Tillman and Meghan Melaney.

George Mitchell was the best man.

Groomsmen were Timothy McArthur, brother of bride, Stephen Proctor, Jason Parrott, Crawford Bolton and Adam Brown.

Ushers were Jordan Benson and Nathan Neighbors.

Anamarie Rodriquez and Carly Meredith Moore were flower girls. Emmett Deveria and Benjamin Moore were ringbearers.

LaRue Sutton directed the wedding, assisted by Carol Meleney. Presiding at the register was Leigh Ann Jarman. Justin Sherwood distributed programs.

Dr. Phillip Kerstetter said the benedictory prayer.

A program of wedding music was provided by Dr. Alan Armstrong, pianist; Jason Cox And Jaime Cox, vocalists; and Drew Benson, cousin of the bride, Brandi Whitley and Adam Brown, friend of the groom.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s mother hosted a reception at Sleepy Creek Country Club.

After their wedding cruise to the Bahamas, the couple will reside in Dudley

Events held before the wedding included a shower at Providence United Methodist Church fellowship hall hosted by April Tucker and her parents; a shower April 23 at the home of Vickie Tillman, friend of the bride’s mother hosted by Ms. Tillman; a bachelorette party and bridesmaids’ dinner May 7 at the home of the bride’s brides mother; a bachelor party May 7 hosted by the best man; and a bridal shower at Johnsonville Pentecostal Holiness Church hosted by the grooms parents and family at Johnsonville Pentecostal Holiness church.

The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Sleepy Creek Country Club.
