Giuliani-Grimes
Linda Gail Grimes and Michael Joseph Giuliani of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony May 14 at 5 p.m. at Saint Paul United Methodist Church, with the Rev. James Harry officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Martha Ellen Grimes and the late Allen Ray Grimes of Goldsboro.
She is employed as an ophthalmic technician at Goldsboro Eye Clinic.
The groom is the son of Joseph Andrew of Little River, S.C., and Rosetta Lee Giuliani of Dickerson, Md.
He was employed as general manager of Three Eagles Golf Course and is now employed with Southern Pride Meat Co. as sales manager.
The bride was escorted by her mother and given in marriage by her family.
She wore a strapless draped taffeta gown with a coordinating shrug.
The bride carried a bouquet of red roses.
Stacy Lynn Sherman was matron of honor, while Ashlee Rae Ehnert was maid of honor.
Sara Michelle Giuliani was the bridesmaid.
Bret Anthony Giuliani was best man.
Groomsmen were Joseph Michael Giuliani, Daniel Vincent Giuliani and William Allen Grimes.
Peyton Lynn Sherman was flower girl. Justin Keith Sherman and Ethan Michael Ehnert were ringbearers.
Shiela Warrick directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Brianna Nicole Sherman. Charlee Ann Thomas and Haylee Christina Thomas distributed programs.
Brandon Sherman and Allen Grimes II were acolytes.
Allen and Kelly Smith greeted guests.
A program of wedding music was provided by the Rev. James Harry, vocalist, and Alice Campbell, organist.
Following the ceremony, a dinner reception was held at Lane Tree Golf and Conference Center. Brenda Griffin and Anita Grimes served the wedding cake.
After their wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple will reside in Goldsboro.
Events held before the wedding included an engagement party in October at Lane Tree Golf and Conference Center hosted by the couple’s children; a bachelorette/lingerie shower in April at Top Hat Ballroom hosted by family and friends; and a bachelor cookout in April hosted by Brandon Sherman.
The couple hosted a rehearsal dinner at Murphy’s Place.
