Jessica Marie Lane and James Garrett Barnes of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 25 at 2 p.m. at Seven Springs Baptist Church, with Ashley Summerlin officiating.

The bride is the daughter of John Gary and LuAnn Mozingo Lane of Seven Springs and the granddaughter of the late Howard Bob and Linda Davis Triplett of Goldsboro, Elaine Stroud and Craig Barbee of Richlands and the late Richard Mozingo of Seven Springs.

She is a 2006 graduate of Spring Creek High School and a 2010 graduate of Mount Olive College. She is employed as resident counselor at Methodist Home for Children.

The groom is the son of James Kent and Carolyn Langston Barnes of Dudley and the grandson of Rachel Perry Barnes and the late John Perry Barnes of Dudley and Pearl Langston and the late Sim Langston of Goldsboro.

He is a 1998 graduate of Southern Wayne High School. He is employed by Air Gas National Welders.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a white strapless organza gown with a corset bodice.

Her headpiece was a diamond and pearl headband.

The bride carried a bouquet of white and yellow roses with pink star gazers and ivy.

Stacy Lane was maid of honor.

Mackenzi Beasley was the bridesmaid.

Jason Barnes was the best man.

Groomsmen were Thomas Hinnant and Christopher Stevens.

Eddie Mozingo was the usher.

Sarah Aycock, Olivia Aycock, Rachel Barnes, Presley Gibbs and Ana Marie Rodriguez were flower girls.

Paula Aycock directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Jessie Sauls. Lisa Mozingo distributed programs.

Special helpers were Judy Kornegay, Lisa Mozingo and Brenda Moore.

Following the ceremony, family and friends hosted a reception in the fellowship hall.

The couple will reside in Goldsboro.

Events held before the wedding included a bridal shower April 17 hosted by the bride’s family and a wedding shower May 22 hosted by the groom’s family.

The bride’s grandparents hosted a rehearsal dinner June 24.
