Courtney Frances Howell of Mount Olive and Thomas Andrew Lee Muncy of Mount Olive exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Jan. 1 at 5 p.m. at Revelation Worship Center in Mount Olive, with minister Jeff Toler officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Stephen and Cheryl Strickland of Faison and Ricky and Rhonda Fields of Pikeville and the granddaughter of Donald and Barbara Kelley of Calypso.

She is a 2009 graduate of Charles B. Aycock and a graduate of the CNA program at James Sprunt Community College. She is employed as a cashier at McDonalds of Mount Olive.

The groom is grandson of Thomas and Ann Comer of Mount Olive.

He is a 2009 graduate of Charles B. Aycock. He is employed in the public works department with Mount Olive.

The bride was escorted by her grandfather, Donald Kelley, and given in marriage by her family.

She wore an off-white matte satin floor-length sheath-style gown with the bodice adorned with crystals, glass beads and metallic embroidery.

Her headpiece was a fingertip-length veil trimmed in satin attached to a rhinestone tiara.

The bride carried a bouquet of white calla lilies and red roses wrapped in satin.

Rebecca Graham of Mount Olive was her cousin’s matron of honor, while Ashley Snipes of Mount Olive, friend of the bride, was maid of honor.

Stephanie Strickland of Faison, sister of the bride, was the bridesmaid.

Thomas Comer of Mount Olive was his grandson’s best man.

Groomsmen were Stephen Strickland of Faison, stepfather of the bride, and Justin Graham of Mount Olive, friend of the couple.

Ushers were J.C. Toler and Bobby Holland of Goldsboro, friends of the couple.

Chelsea Toler of Goldsboro, friend of the couple, was flower girl.

Sharon Roberts of Mount Olive, friend of the couple, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Michelle Gooding of Mount Olive, aunt of the bride. Sidney Fields of Pikeville, sister of the bride, distributed the programs.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s family hosted a reception in the church meeting center.

After their wedding trip to Wilmington, the couple will reside in Mount Olive.
