Ashton Leigh Ayers and Christopher Taylor Jackson exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Nov. 13 at 3:30 p.m. at Salisbury Depot in Salisbury, with Eric Pruitt officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Timothy J. and Dena D. Ayers of Concord and the granddaughter of Betty A. Ayers and the late William H. Ayers of Concord and the late Robert B. and Louise K. Diggle of Charlotte.

She is a 2009 graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in nutrition science. She is employed as a panel leader at Sensory Spectrum.

The groom is the son of Jeffrey B. and Julie R. Jackson of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late Thurman R. and Ruby B. Jackson and the late Pamela Talbot of Goldsboro and Donald C. Rouse Jr. of Raleigh.

He is a 2009 graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in finance. He is employed as a junior broker at C.F. Parks and Co. Inc.

The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father.

Anna Cutler was the maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Meagan Jackson, Callie Wilkinson, Charley Ayers, Tara Ilsley and Ariel Ayers.

Jeffrey Jackson was the best man.

Groomsmen were Drew Jackson, Matt Stone, Zach Williams, Charlie Benfield and Chris Ayers.

Caitlin Ayers was the flower girl.

Presiding at the register was Leah Benfield. Jennifer Robertson distributed the programs.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Salisbury Depot.

After their wedding trip to Charleston, S.C., and Savannah, Ga., the couple will reside in Concord.

Events held before the wedding included an engagement party at Walnut Creek Country Club hosted by friends and family; a bridal shower hosted by Penny Jordan, Paulette Jackson, Mandy Carroll and April Brantham; and a wedding shower in Kannapolis hosted by the bridesmaids.

A rehearsal dinner was held at Cabarrus Country Club in Concord.
