Causby - Jones

Mrs. Causby

Angela Michelle Jones of Smithfield and Kent Douglas Causby of Smithfield exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 30 at 4 p.m. at Hinnant Family Vineyards in Pine Level, with the Rev. Dr. Robert F. Dean officiating.

The bride is the daughter of William Dwight and Sandra Bass Jones of Eureka.

The groom is the son of Dr. James Frank and June Robinson Causby of Candler.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a formal gown of ivory satin with a sweetheart strapless neckline. The fitted bodice was lined with princess seams that complimented the A-line pleats in the skirt that lead to the chapel-length train. Beading and embroidery blanketed the gown.

Her headpiece was a comb of freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals and rhinestones that ended in a veil of silk illusion edged with silver threading pearls and bugle beads.

The bride carried hand-tied tulips, red daisies, gold mums, lilies, alstromeria, solido and gold spray roses.

Anna E. Davis of Princeton was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Andrea G. Lavigne of Jonesville and Allison C. Newman of Saulston.

Dr. James F. Causby was best man.

Groomsmen were Dr. Cory Causby of Waynesville and John Causby of Brevard.

Laurel Causby was flower girl. Peyton Causby was ringbearer.

Lu Massey directed the wedding.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Hinnant Family

Vineyard in Pine Level.

After their wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple will reside in Smithfield.

A rehearsal dinner was held Oct. 29 at Hinnant Family Vineyards.
