SWAN QUARTER — Lorie Jean Tilghman of Pikeville and James Jay Rohrbach of Belhaven exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 24 at 12:30 p.m., with Matthew Mason officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mildred Faye Butts Blizzard and the late Kenneth Dwight Blizzard of Pikeville.

She graduated from Eastern Wayne High School in 1987. She is employed as a CNA at Goldsboro Pediatrics.

The groom is the son of Donald C. Rohrbach of Hellertown, Pa.

He graduated from Saucon Valley High School in Pennsylvania and Gettysburg College with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He is an Eagle Scout. He was former owner/operator of Fountain Hill Hardward Co. in Bethlehem, Pa.

The bride was given in marriage by her son, Hampton R. Tilghman.

She wore an off -the-shoulder gown with princess seams and boning with a chiffon skirt and an invisible back zipper.

Paula Schultze was her sister’s maid of honor.

Hampton Reid Tilghman, son of the bride, was the best man.

A program of wedding music was provided by Kevin Gardner, a friend of the family.

Following the ceremony, a luncheon was held on the waterfront in downtown Washington.

The couple will reside in Pikeville.
