GREENSBORO — Emily Elizabeth Pahel and Todd Williams Nunn exchanged vows July 31 at Revolution Mill Courtyard, with the Rev. John Rainey officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Carey and Nancy Pahel of Greensboro and the granddaughter of Hazel Gettemy Pahel and the late Henry Orr Pahel Jr. of Youngwood, Pa., and the late John and Althea Hofstetter of New Bern.

She graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in interpersonal communication. She is employed as the administrator at Brian Center Shamrock in Charlotte.

The groom is the son of Paul and Pat Nunn of Goldsboro and the grandson of Helen Rivenbark Nunn and the late Paul Ashley Nunn of LaGrange and the late Harvey and Elizabeth Williams of Kinston.

He graduated from East Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in accounting. He is employed as the finance director for Peak Resources in Gastonia.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

Kaitlyn Anne Pahel of Greensboro was her sister’s maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Ginger Cox Nunn of Raleigh, sister-in-law of the groom, Lindsey Elizabeth Buoyer of Wilmington, Lauren Anderson Hodges and Megan Caroline Loflin of New York, N.Y., Kathryn Betty Pekarne of Asheville and Abbie Elizabeth Wood of Wilmington.

Paul Lee Nunn was his son’s best man.

Groomsmen were Jeffrey Paul Nunn of Raleigh, brother of the groom; Geoffrey Andrew Pahel of Raleigh, brother of the bride; John Gwyn Campbell of New York, N.Y.; Alferd Benjamin Goodrich III and Daniel Lewis Talley of Raleigh; and Emery Donald Ivey of Goldsboro.

Katie Lynn Jones of Charlotte was Scripture reader.

Charlotte and Eleanor Yarboro of Goldsboro greeted guests.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a dinner reception at Revolution Mill.

After their honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple will reside in Charlotte.

Events before the wedding included an engagement party April 24 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clement Munroe Best Jr. hosted by friends; a bridal shower May 22 hosted by Pat and Ginger Nunn; a bridal shower June 5 hosted by Michele White; and a bridal shower July 10 hosted by Bobbie and Abbie Wood.

The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner and dance July 30 at Proximity Hotel.
