RALEIGH, — Charity Elizabeth Daniel of Raleigh and Keith Aaron Wickliffe of Raleigh exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony May 30 at 3 p.m. at Raleigh Rose Garden, with Dennis Conner and Ron Johnson officiating.

The bride is the daughter of David and Elaine Daniel of Fremont and the granddaughter of Chick Daniel and the late Merry Gene Daniel and the late Thomas Gagnon and Alice Baker.

She is a 2004 graduate of Campbell University with a bachelor’s degree in piano pedagogy. She is self-employed as a piano teacher.

The groom is the son of Curtis and Veeca Wickliffe of Belton, Texas, and the grandson of Bobby Wickliffe, Evelyn Sanderson and George and Jane Fort.

He is a 2003 and a 2005 graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree and attends North Carolina State University for a Ph.D. in educational administration. He is employed as an assistant director with university housing at North Carolina State University.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore an ivory empire-waisted halter-style dress of chiffon accented with pearl beading and a flowing train.

Her headpiece was pink and red roses in her hair.

The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of red roses.

Bridesmaids were Virginia Macha, Anne Elisabeth Stengl, Erin Hodge, Sara Dickson, Beth Daniel and Kensey Jones.

Aldon Wickliffe was the best man.

Groomsmen were Josh Harrelson, Ross Anderson, Jared Sanders, Dennis Spears and Stephen Herr.

Ushers were Christopher and Timothy Daniel.

Earline Johnson directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Anna Meade. Michelle Silvey and BreAnn Wickliffe distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Daniel and Erin Hodge, pianists; Eliott Overman, violinist; and Jamie Cox, Josh Harrelson, Daniel Hodge, Erin Hodge and Anne Elisabeth Stengl, vocalists.

The couple held a reception at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Cary.

After their wedding trip to the mountains and a cruise to Mexico, the couple will reside in Raleigh.

A reception will be held July 25 at 1:30 p.m. at Fremont Missionary Baptist Church fellowship hall.
