PINE LEVEL — Kari Michelle Lee of Goldsboro and Jonathan Edward Yarrow of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony May 1 at 5 p.m. at Hinnant Family Vineyard, with pastor Cory Bolduc officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Ricky Lee of Goldsboro and Sharon Barnes of Pikeville and the granddaughter of the late Donald Lee of Dunn, Myrtle Ferguson of Coats and Joyce Barnes and the late Preston Barnes of New Bern.
She is a 2001 graduate of Faith Christian Academy and a 2008 graduate of Wayne Community College with an associate degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The groom is the son of Kenneth and Dawn Yarrow of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late Kenneth and Helen Yarrow of Mountain Lakes, N.J., and the late Elwood and Dorothy Arps of Denville, N.J.
He is a 1997 graduate of Eastern Wayne High School. He is employed as manager at Speakerworks Mobile Entertainment.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a formal gown of white satin with a sweetheart neckline and embroidered lace cap sleeves. The side-swept bodice was adorned with beaded accents and embroidery and the A-line skirt flowed into a chapel-length train adorned with beading and embroidery.
Her headpiece was a silver comb embellished with clusters of pearls and crystals and a white single-tier elbow veil trimmed with a metallic beaded edge.
The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of three dozen princess pink roses.
Holly Riggs was her friend’s matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Crystal Lee, sister of the bride, and Melissa McClure and Chelsea Young, friends of the bride.
Tim Harrington was his friend’s best man.
Groomsmen were Jeff Sparks, Glenn Brock and Bryan Talton, friends of the groom.
Amber Mattson, niece of the bride, was the junior bridesmaid.
Summer and Savannah Blackman, sisters of the bride, were honorary bridesmaids.
Kayla Sparks, friend of the couple, was flower girl. Alex Neumann, friend of the couple, was ringbearer.
Katie Yarrow, sister of the groom, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Kelly Dietz, aunt of the bride. Elizabeth and Grace Dietz, cousins of the bride, distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Krystal Bolduc, friend of the couple.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance reception was held in the vineyard’s gallery. Jana, Summer and Savannah Blackman served the four-tiered wedding cake. Earl and Terry Berkley poured wine for a toast. Jeff and Alex Dietz lit candles and distributed sparklers.
After their wedding trip to Washington, D.C., the couple will reside in Goldsboro.
Events held before the wedding included a monogram/initial bridal shower March 6 at Torrero’s Mexican Restaurant hosted by Jana Blackman, Linda Wilkins and Holly Riggs and a miscellaneous wedding shower April 17 at the home of Melissa McClure.
The bride’s mother hosted a rehearsal dinner April 30 at La Paz Mexican Restaurant.
