Mrs. Sherrill

CHARLOTTE — Catherine Tarrant Setzer of Charlotte and Kevin Haynes Sherrill of Charlotte exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 31 at 5 p.m. at Hawthorne Lane United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Andrew Brown officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Eli Setzer Jr. of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Mrs. Joseph Eli Setzer of Goldsboro, the late Mr. Setzer of Elizabeth City and Mrs. Robert McLean Senn Jr. and the late Mr. Senn of Greensboro.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Dale Sherrill of Claremont and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Maison Haynes Sherrill of Sherrill’s Ford, Patsy Anne Lane of Conover and the late William Eugene Blackburn of Catawba.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

Paige Setzer Rielly was her sister’s matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Jennifer Anne Foley, Raven Crawford Watt and Alyson Leigh Winn.

Tracy Leeland Shook was best man.

Groomsmen were Jason Allen Blalock, Cory Pender Bramhall and Brett Thomas Calamari.

Karen Hinson directed the wedding. Nathan Wayne Sherrill, brother of groom, distributed the programs.

Logan Elliott Sherrill, brother of groom, was scripture reader.

A program of wedding music was provided by James Busby, organist.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Pewter Rose Bistro in Charlotte.

After their wedding trip to Grove Park Inn in Asheville, the couple will reside in Charlotte.
