CLINTON — Najshula Lynn Hall and Jarrett Brent Lassiter exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Nov. 7 at 5 p.m. at Graves Memorial Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Louie Verner Andrews III officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Wayne Hall of Clinton and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher Minson Sessoms of Clinton and Louise Hall Strickland and the late Calvin C. Hall of Autryville.

She graduated from Clinton School, Lees-McRae College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in dance and the University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a North Carolina teaching license. She is employed by Lakewood High School as a dance teacher.

The groom is the son of Susan Ham Hale of Goldsboro and the late Jackie Cleveland Lassiter of Princeton and the grandson of Margaret Corbett Ham and the late Lonnie Otha Ham of Snow Hill and Elsie Rose Lassiter, Nathan “Coot” Lassiter and the late Nore Heber “Paul” Lassiter of Princeton.

He graduated from Rosewood High School and attended East Carolina University. He is owner/operator of S&B Pizza dba Pizza Inn.

The bride was escorted by her father and presented in marriage by her parents.

She wore a strapless pearl and champagne gown with a duchess satin bodice embroidered with Swarovski crystals, pearls and bugle beads. The skirt featured a chapel-length train accented in a pearl and beaded pyramid that extended from the bodice. She also wore pearl and diamond earrings and match necklace, a gift from the groom.

Her headpiece was a double fingertip ivory veil with a champagne corded edge accented with Swarovski crystals and pearls. She also wore a silver headband with crystal and pearl flowers.

The bride carried a bouquet of mango calla lilies, orange circus roses, green hypericum berries, ivory hydrangeas and seeded eucalyptus.

Whitney Brooke Martin of Fayetteville was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Cheri Snow Crabtree of Clayton, Amanda Marie Horwitz and Blair Allen Ivey of Fayetteville and Kimberly Herrmann Kemp of Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Justin Ham Lassiter of Snow Hill was his brother’s best man.

Groomsmen were Calvin Minson Hall of Clinton, brother of the bride, Carl Patrick Russell of Colonial Heights, Va., and David Michael Turnage and Joseph Benjamin Nassef of Goldsboro.

Junior bridesmaids were Lauren Elizabeth Huff and Anna Caroline Huff of Clinton.

Hunter Lee Lassiter and Justin Wyatt Lassiter of Snow Hill were the ringbearers.

Mariana McCullen Sanderson and Constance Barefoot Williamson directed the wedding. Presiding at the register were Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Chris Fann of Clinton. Casi Ryan Fann and Savannah Michelle Fan of Clinton distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Mrs. Neal Warren Sinclair, organist, and Barbie Clifton, vocalist.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at Sampson County Agri-Civic Center. Mayor Luther Donald Starling Jr., Erika Marie Britt, Dr. and Mrs. William Alexander Huff, Dr. and Mrs. John Finely McPhail III and the Hon. and Mrs. Leonard White Thagard greeted guests. Susan Adams Tucker of Clinton was director.

After their wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple will reside in Clinton.

Events held before the wedding included an engagement party June 13 at Coharie Country Club hosted by friends of the bride’s parents; a bachelorette party the weekend of Aug. 7 in Savannah, Ga., hosted by Whitney Martin; a she’s-just-gotta-have-it shower Aug. 23 at the home of Elizabeth Jackson hosted by Mary Beth Jackson, Debbie Hartgrove, JoAnn Wilson, Bethel Hall, Monica Hall and Ms. Jackson; a stock-the-bar party Sept. 11 at the home of Jeff and Sara Swartz; a croquet-on-the-lawn party Sept. 25 at the home of Dr. and Mrs. John McPahil; a bridal shower Oct. 3 at the home of Janice Cooke, friend of the groom’s mother, hosted by Ms. Cooke, Cindy Taylor and Susan Hale; a bridal shower Oct. 4 at the Victor R. Small House hosted by friends of the bride and Grave Church family; a dinner Oct. 23 at Capital City Club in Raleigh hosted by Mayor Lew Starling and Erika Britt; a bridesmaids’ luncheon Nov. 6 at the home of Ann Reynolds Weeks hosted by Michelle Reynolds, Kim Fann and Ann Weeks; and a breakfast Nov. 7 at the home of Lauren Huff and Anna Huff hosted by the Huffs.

The groom’s mother hosted a rehearsal dinner Nov. 6 at Coharie Country Club.
