Marian “De” Adelaide Browen of Goldsboro and Monty Earl Lockamy exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Nov. 7 at 2 p.m. at Jefferson United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Alice Wade Davis officiating.

The bride is the daughter of the late George William and Marian Delores (Crouch) Browen of San Antonio, Texas.

She is employed as a data analyst at Best Diamond Packaging LLC in Kinston.

The groom is the son of Lanis Carolyn (Sutton) Lockamy and the late Wilbert Earl Lockamy of Goldsboro.

He is employed at Rosewood Hardware.

The bride was escorted by Matthew Lassiter.

She wore a champagne-colored dress with a cowl neckline that was accented with pearls and a handkerchief hem.

Kayla Smith was the maid of honor.

Michael “Dogg” Hinson was the best man.

Matthew Lassiter was the usher.

Janice Hill directed the wedding. Brooke King, niece of groom, distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Angela Darden, pianist; and Kasi Smith, vocalist; and Brett Schwind, sound system technician.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held. Mr. and Mrs. James Leneave were directors. Edna Whaley cut the wedding cake and groom’s cake.

The couple will take a wedding trip to Walt Disney World, Fla., in December. The couple will reside in Rosewood.

Events held before the wedding included an around-the-clock luncheon hosted by Betty Evans of Jefferson United Methodist Church at Lane Tree Country Club.

A rehearsal dinner was held at Jefferson United Methodist Church.
