MOUNT OLIVE — Sarah Brittney Barwick and Gregory Matthew Wiggins exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Nov. 14 at 4 p.m. at Northeast Original Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Sherman Dilley officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Terri Jean Barwick and Lawrence Leon Barwick of Mount Olive and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Bennett of Austin, Texas and the late Maryanne Bennett and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Lester Barwick of Dudley.

She is a graduate of Fayetteville Technical Community College with an Associate in Applied Science degree in physical therapy. She is employed at Goldsboro Orthopaedics Associates as a physical therapist assistant.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael John Phillips and Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Morris Wiggins of Mount Olive and the grandson of Susie T. Bell and the late Charles “Tinker” Bell and Mr. and Mrs. Morris Wiggins of Mount Olive.

He is a 2004 graduate of Cape Fear Community College with an associate degree in architectural design and a 2006 graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management. He is employed at Jackson Builders Inc. as a purchasing agent.

The bride wore a white formal strapless A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline and a lace overlay with a chapel train.

Her headpiece was a crown of rhinestones and pearls.

The bride carried a bouquet of yellow roses.

Ashley Conley Tillett was her cousin’s matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Ashley Wiggins Brock, Savannah Shay Wiggins and Chelsea Michelle Phillips, sisters of the groom; Kailey Victoria Adams, cousin of the bride; and Leighanna Grady Kornegay and Laura Rose Smith, friends of the couple.

Gregory Morris Wiggins was his son’s best man.

Groomsmen were Joshua Gray Wiggins, Joseph Michael Phillips and Matthew John Phillips, brothers of the groom; Danny Ray Brock, brother-in-law of the groom; and Daniel Marvin Kittrell and Michael Stephen Warren, friends of the couple.

Madeline Gail Quinn was flower girl.

Neta Barwick Conley, aunt of the bride, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register and distributing programs were Aaronia Grady Womble and Heather Bova Allen, friends of the couple.

A program of wedding music was provided by Weil Sawyer, pianist and organist, and James Sauls and Jay Sauls, vocalists.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s family hosted a reception at Wayne Shrine Club.

After their wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, he couple will reside in Dudley.

Events held before the wedding included a poolside shower Aug. 8 hosted by friends of the couple; a miscellaneous shower Sept. 13 hosted by the bride’s family; a miscellaneous shower Oct. 2 at Jackson Builders hosed by co-workers of the groom; and a miscellaneous shower Oct. 3 hosted by the groom’s family.

The groom’s family hosted a rehearsal dinner at Goldsboro Country Cub.
