WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH — Sylvia Lee Quinn and John Waters Grigsby Jr. exchanged vows Oct. 17 at noon at The Oceanic, with the Rev. Cheryl M. Walker officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.D. Quinn of Mount Olive.
The groom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Grigsby Sr. of McLean, Va.
Phillis Quinn Ostheim of Mount Olive was her sister’s matron of honor.
Rodger Grigsby of Wilmington was his brother’s best man.
Crosby Grigsby of Albuquerque, N.M., granddaughter of the groom, was flower girl.
Christopher Grigsby of Albuquerque and Heather Stiefvater of Dillon, Colo., children of the groom; Joshua Brown of Wilmington and Bethany Brown of Boone, children of the bride; and Bud Barnum of Oak Hill, Va., friend of the groom, were readers.
Following the ceremony, a reception luncheon was held.
After their wedding trip to Asheville, the couple will reside in Leland.
