LAGRANGE — Christy Nichole Hawley of Goldsboro and Bradley Christian Fletcher exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Sept. 19 at 5 p.m. at Frinks Alumni building, with the Rev. Kaye Wright officiating.

The bride is the daughter of James Hawley of Four Oaks and Linda Trevathan Smith of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of William “Tom” Hawley and the late Joyce Hawley of Swan Quarter and the late Jesse James and Dorothy Evelyn Trevathan of Pikeville.

She is a 2003 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School. She is employed as bank teller at Wachovia.

The groom is the son of Barbara Williford Fletcher and the late Donald Keith Fletcher of Princeton and the grandson of Joyce Fletcher and the late William Fletcher of Phoenix, Ariz., and the late Pete and Ida Williford of Princeton.

He is a 1997 graduate of Princeton High School. He is employed as a machinist at APV/SPX.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a white satin princess-line gown with a coral sash.

Her headpiece was a diamond-cut princess tiara.

The bride carried a bouquet of coral tipped baby roses.

Cheri Rhodes was her sister’s matron of honor, while

Bridesmaids were Kelly Starr Ezzell and Brittany Dawn Harper.

Ushers were Hunter Christian Grice and Spencer Ashton Lynch.

Makenzie Jo Millard was flower girl. Jesse Ryan Grice was ringbearer.

Loretta Ann Quinn directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Christina Ann Bruton. Amber Nichole Hill distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Christina Kessell Jett, music director.

The couple took a wedding cruise to Nassau, Bahamas.

Events held before the ceremony included a bridal shower Aug. 1 at Pikeville Fire Department hosted by Linda Smith, Janet Grice and Evelyn Person and a bridal luncheon Sept. 5 at Logan’s Roadhouse.
