ROCKY MOUNT — Sharon LouAnn Daniel and George Thomas Miller Jr. of Rocky Mount exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony May 23 at 2 p.m. at the home of Mike and Terri Curtri, with the Rev. Dwain Pyeatt officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Alton and Inez Daniel of Rocky Mount and the granddaughter of the late Jesse and Beluah Daniel and the late Willie and Gracie Powell of Rocky Mount.

She graduated from Northern Nash Senior High School in 1984. She is employed as in accounts payable at Priemer Warehousing Services.

The groom is the son of George Thomas Miller Sr. and Patricia Pearce Miller of Pikeville and the grandson of Alma Louise Miller and the late Jesse Miller of Pikeville and the late Milton and Mary Elizabeth Pearce of Goldsboro.

He graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School 1991. He is employed as truck driver at Nash Equipment Co.

The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her son, Dylan Daniel.

She wore a two-piece white dress white with pink sequins.

The bride carried pink and white lilies.

Miranda Hudson, niece of the bride, and Nicole Elizabeth Miller, daughter of the groom, were candlelighters.

A program of wedding music was provided by Emily Daniel.

Following the ceremony, the groom’s parents hosted a pig-picking reception.

After their wedding trip to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tenn., the couple will reside in Rocky Mount.

Events held before the wedding included a bridal lunch May 21 at Priemer Warehousing hosted by friends.
