NEW HILL — Jamie Lynn Bradley and Luke Sullivan Pearson exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 20 at 6 p.m. at Shady Wagon Farm, with Jason Gaston officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Flint and Jodi Brewer Bradley of Chapel Hill and the granddaughter of Vance and Yoli Bradley and Sandra Bradley of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Bob and Carol Brewer of Vero Beach, Fla.

She graduated from Green Hope High School in Cary in 2005 and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. She is employed as a trainer at Verizon in Wilmington.

The groom is the son of Jerry and Brenda Sullivan Pearson of Goldsboro and the grandson of Lacy and Ann Pearson of Clinton and Ray and Marguerite Sullivan of Goldsboro.

He graduated from Rosewood High School in 2002 and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in film studies and a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications studies. He is self-employed with Lift Films and part-time with the media department at Port City Community Church in Wilmington.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore her mother’s wedding gown of winter-white satin, re-designed to a strapless sweetheart neckline. Parts of her mother’s veil were used as trim on the dress and chapel-length train.

Her headpiece was her mother’s modified for the bride.

Stuart Edwards of Greenville was her friend’s maid of honor.

The bride carried a hand-tied garden-style bouquet of white roses, lisisanthus, lilies and hydrangeas tied with with white satin.

Bridesmaids were Kelly Ingland of Wilmington, friend of the bride; Stephanie Wheeler of Vero Beach, cousin of the bride; Presha Bradley of Apex, sister-in-law of bride; and Jerri-Rae Pearson Phillips of Goldsboro, sister of the groom.

Jerry Pearson was his son’s best man.

Groomsmen were Josh Pelliter of Greenville, Booney Joyner of Apex and Todd Weeks of Atlanta, Ga., friends of the groom, and Robby Phillips of Goldsboro, brother-in-law of the groom.

Abigail Bradley of Cary, niece of bride, and Karis Gilstrap of Goldsboro, cousin of the groom, were flower girls. Cade Bradley of Apex, nephew of the bride, was ringbearer.

Kenton Jenkins directed the wedding.

A program of wedding music was provided by Booney Joyner and Jen Justus, friends of the couple, vocalists, and Booney Joyner, guitarist.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a dinner and dance reception at Shady Wagon Farm.

After a wedding cruise to the Caribbean, the couple resides in Wilmington.

Events held before the wedding included a tool and garden shower at the home of Robby and Jerri-Rae Phillips hosted by Angela and Bruce Pearson and the Phillipses; a shower at the home of Stuart Edwards and the bride hosted by Ms. Edward in Wilmington; a kitchen shower at the home of Paula Nichols hosted by Ms. Nichols; a bachelorette weekend in Ocean Isle hosted by Stuart Edwards, Lauren Gray and Holly Campbell; and a golf tournament June 19.

The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner June 19 at Preserve Golf Club in Chapel Hill.
