Linzy Scott Bailey and Brian Wayne Baker of Princeton exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Jan. 16 at 6:30 p.m. at Lane Tree Golf Club, with Justin Thomas officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph E. and Debbie Pool Bailey of Princeton and the granddaughter of George and Jean Pool of Princeton and the late J.T. Bailey, Mildred Bailey and Doris Bailey of Eureka.

She 2002 graduate of Rosewood High School and a 2004 graduate of Wayne Community College with a degree in accounting and attends the college's dental hygiene program. She is employed by Thompson Lubricants of Goldsboro.

The groom is the son of Cathy and William Skipper of Willow Springs and Craig and Christy Baker of Princeton the grandson of Jerry and Mickey Baker of Princeton, Chris and Kathy Howell of Snow Hill and the late Esther Jones.

He is a 2002 graduate of Princeton High School. He attended Wayne Community College. He is employed as assistant manager at the Piggly Wiggly in Princeton.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents

She wore a white satin V-neck sheath gown with a suplice bodice and ruched waist. Satin-covered buttons adorned the back.

Her headpiece was a rhinestone cage veil accented with a snowflake of white pearls and rhinestones.

The bride carried a bouquet of snow-covered branches and Austrian crystal beads with assorted snowflakes and satin ribbon streamers tied in love knots.

Emily Bailey was her sister's maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Missy Bailey, sister of the bride; Brittany Baker, sister of the groom; Jenny Bailey, sister-in-law of the bride, and Ashley Bennett, friend of the bride.

Craig Baker was his son's best man.

Groomsmen were Tyler Baker and Richie Baker, brothers of the groom; Joey Bailey, brother of the bride; and Dewey Baker, friend of the groom.

Ushers were Tommy Clephane, brother of the groom; Browning Pool, cousin of the bride; and Dewey Baker Jr. friend of the groom.

Richie Baker Jr., nephew of the groom, was aisle runner.

Logan Wiggs, cousin of the groom, was snowflake princess.

Joseph Edward Bailey III, nephew of the bride, was ringbearer.

Christine Elliott, aunt of the bride, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Ashley Pool, cousin of the bride. Ann Marie Ballance, cousin of the bride, and Jillian Wiggs, cousin of the groom, distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Thomas Vick Entertainment, and Gabe Rey, friend of the couple, vocalist.

Following the ceremony, a dinner reception and dance was held at Lane Tree Country Club. Derrieck Pool, uncle of the bride, and Michelle Barr, friend of the family, greeted guests. Melody Pinder and Tracy Riggs, aunts of the groom, served the wedding cake. Carla Hudson and Elizabeth Bowden, friends of the bride, poured punch. Jillian Wiggs and Logan Wiggs, cousins of the groom, distributed snow bundles.

After a wedding trip to Mrytle Beach, S.C., the couple resides in Rosewood.

Events held before the wedding included a bachelor party Jan. 10 hosted by the groom's family; a honey-do shower and golf outing Jan. 10 at Lane Tree hosted by Joe Bailey, Joey Bailey and George Pool; a bachelorette get-away Jan. 9 in Raleigh hosted by the bridesmaids; a bride and groom fellowship Jan. 25 hosted by Grace Baptist Church; a pottery shower Nov. 26 at Keepsake Pottery hosted by Ashley Bennett; and a bridal shower Nov. 22 at the home of Joann Neal hosted by Ms. Neal, Renee Parrish, Jean Pool, Emily Bailey, Missy Bailey and Jenny Baily.

The groom's family hosted a rehearsal dinner Jan. 15 at Lane Tree.
