Rains - Churchwell
WAKE FOREST — Melissa Ann Churchwell of Raleigh and Michael William Rains of Raleigh exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 11 at 5:30 p.m. at the Cotton Company, with the Rev. Philip Stork officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Joe Churchwell II and Joy Churchwell of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of the late Joe Churchwell I and Elisabeth Churchwell of San Antonio, Texas, and the late Ernest and Bonnie Lindemann of Mt. Holly.
The groom is the son of Billy and Ann Rains of Willow Springs and the grandson of the late William McKinley and Elizabeth Rains and the late J. Matt and Della May Brooks of Middlesboro, Ky.
After a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple resides in Raleigh.
