Cara Marie Silver and Jason Samuel Camaioni exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Aug. 23 at 5 p.m. at Goldsboro Country Club, with the Rev. Russell Winegardner officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. George and Pam Silver and Charles and Ann Stackhouse of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of the late Carl and Pauline Franklin of West Virginia and Dr. George Silver and the late Dr. Jane Silver of Goldsboro.

She graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School and Barton College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at Wayne Memorial Hospital’s intensive care unit.

The groom is the son of Tony and Sue Camaioni of Goldsboro and the late Diane Wilson of Dudley and the grandson of Samuel and Ilean Phillips of West Virginia and Armand and Julia Camaioni of California.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a strapless formal gown with a fitted bodice embellished with re-embroidered lace pearls and sequins that ended in a Basque waistline. The full A-line skirt was beaded with lace and pearls with a scalloped hem that cascaded into a cathedral train.

Her headpiece was a tiara of rhinestones that extended into a two-tiered veil edged with Austrian crystals.

The bride carried a cascading bouquet of stargazer lilies, miniature calla lilies, Virginia roses and miniature sunflowers.

Tara Shipman of Greenville was her friend’s maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Christine Bazik of Raleigh and Kristina Nease of King George, Va.

Rocco Melvin of Goldsboro was best man.

Groomsmen were Allan Best and Andrew Lancaster of Goldsboro.

Sara Katherine Smith of Williamsburg, Va., niece of the bride, was the junior bridesmaid. Kirkland Smith of Williamsburg, nephew of the bride, was the junior groomsman.

Emily Claire Smith of Williamsburg, niece of the bride, was flower girl. John Thomas Smith of Williamsburg, nephew of the bride, was ringbearer.

Presiding at the register was Ava Silver of Goldsboro. Francesca Pregano and Jenifer Franklin distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Greg Jones of Raleigh.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Goldsboro Country Club.

After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple reside in Goldsboro.

Events held before the wedding included a bridal shower at Walnut Creek Country Club hosted by the bridesmaids; a miscellaneous shower hosted by co-workers of the bride; and a pre-event dinner hosted by friends of the bride.

The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Pupetta Italian Restaurant.
