Harrell - Anderson
MOUNT OLIVE — Jessica Lynn Anderson and Timmy Edward Harrell exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 12 at 7 p.m. at the home of the bride, with the Rev. Marty Gurganus officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Ricky Earl and Janet Lee Joyner of Mount Olive and the granddaughter of Nina Joyner and the late Willie Mintz Joyner of Mount Olive and Reid and Beverly Wice of Goldsboro.
She is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in agricultural education and attends East Carolina University for a Masters in School Administration degree. She is employed as assistant principal at Charles B. Aycock High School.
The groom is the son of Dannie Edward and Barbara Kaye Harrell of Mount Olive and the grandson of the late Gilmer and Hazel Harrell and Jesse Ray and Barbara Brogden of Mount Olive.
He graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural education and a Masters of School Administration degree. He is employed as assistant principal at Princeton School.
The bride was escorted by Michael Anderson and given in marriage by her father.
She wore an antique-style satin gown with a pleated chiffon overlay trimmed in lace. The fitted bodice was decorated with ivory seed pearls.
Her headpiece was a matching hat trimmed in lace and pearls.
The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of white and plum calla lilies.
Shelley Gainey was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Scarlett Joyner and Michelle Joyner.
Dannie Harrell served as best man.
Groomsmen were Jeffrey Brogden and Shawn Brogden.
Jonathan Joyner was the usher.
Presiding at the register was Elizabeth Cook.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride.
After a wedding trip to Charleston, S.C., the couple reside in Mount Olive.
A rehearsal dinner was held July 11 at Eureka Christian Church in Dobbersville.
