LAGRANGE — Lori Lee Short of Dudley and Anthony Scott Lajueness of Dudley exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 19 at 5:30 p.m. at the home of the bride’s parents, with Pastor Rick Mondell and George Lajueness, father of the groom, officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Donald E Short Jr. of Springfield, Ohio, and Anne Price of LaGrange, the stepdaughter of Clark Davis Price of LaGrange and Theresa Short of Springfield, the granddaughter of Barbara A. Short, the late Donald E. Short Sr. and the late Irvin and Mary Ann Camp of Springfield and the stepgranddaughter of C.C. and Ann Price of LaGrange.

She graduated from Eastern Wayne High School in 2000 and attends Wayne Community College for an associate degree in early childhood education. She is employed as assistant director at Anne’s Little Angels Daycare.

The groom is the son of George and Peggy Lajueness of Halifax and the grandson of the late Ray and Martha Lajueness of Grand Rapids, Mich., and the late Bruce and Bertha Moore of Walstonburg.

He graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School in 1999. He is employed as a counter salesman at Ram Rent All.

The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father and stepfather.

She wore a white beaded dress with pink accents.

Her headpiece was a diamond comb attached to a lace veil.

The bride carried a pink Gerber daisy bouquet with black accents.

Kristy Spencer was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Jenny Mellon, Malori Price and Kristin Nevin.

John Martin was best man.

Groomsmen were Willie Person, Eric Lajueness and Robbie Short.

Franchesca Boyce was the junior bridesmaid.

Kylie Grace Barwick was flower girl. Kyler Short was ringbearer.

Pat Camp and Ginger Hutchinson directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Brittani Eichelburger. Beth Tyner distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Sheri Pabst, vocalist, and Aaron Williford, DJ.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.

After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple reside in Dudley.

Events held before the wedding included a wedding shower June 7 at the home of the bride’s parents hosted by the bridesmaids.

A rehearsal dinner was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
