Bradford - VanDevender
CORNELIUS — Danielle VanDevender Kerley of Huntersville and Elvis Wayne Bradford of Huntersville exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 12 at 7 p.m. at the home of the bride’s mother, with Pastor Paul Turbesky officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Charlotte Bass of Cornelius and Danny and Peggy VanDevender of Pikeville and the granddaughter of Vander and Nancy Thompson and the late Beatrice Thompson of Goldsboro, the late James Edger and Geneva Bass of Stantonsburg, Robert and Jenny VanDevender of Conyers, Ga., Noah Sites and the late Azalie Sites of Pikeville.
She attended school in Cornelius. She is employed at Carolinas Healthcare Systems.
The groom is the son of Stacy and Janet Bradford of Mount Olive and the grandson of the late Thurman and Ruth Bradford, Ellena McCullen and the late Willard McCullen of Mount Olive.
He attended school in Goldsboro. He is employed as a supervisor at Breece Landscaping.
The bride was escorted by her son, Robbie Kerley, and given in marriage by her son and daughter, Baylie Kerley.
She wore a powder blue satin grown.
Bridesmaids were Baylie Kerley and Anna Bradford.
Robbie Kerley was best man.
A program of wedding music was provided by Michael Bass.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held pool side. Christine Lively was the server.
After a wedding trip to Disney, the couple reside in Huntersville.
Events held before the wedding included a bridal shower hosted by the bride’s office.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Captain's Galley in Huntersville.
